PTECFF Awards Scholarships to Eight Pender Public School Seniors

Pender, Neb. (June 22, 2026) The Pender-Thurston Education and Community Foundation Fund (PTECFF) is pleased to announce the awarding of traditional scholarships to eight graduating seniors from Pender Public Schools. The scholarships were presented in May 2026 as part of the PTECFF's ongoing commitment to investing in the future of local students and supporting their educational goals.

This year's recipients are:

  • Addilyn Johnson

  • Lane Kelly

  • Tyler McCauley

  • Allie Rutar

  • Jake Schuster

  • Farris Swinton

  • Hadley Walsh

"These students represent the very best of Pender Public Schools—they are driven, dedicated, and full of potential," said Dee Moeller, President of the Pender-Thurston Education and Community Foundation Fund. "We are proud to support their academic journeys and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the years to come."

Over the past two decades, the PTECFF has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to students pursuing higher education. This milestone reflects the Foundation's long-standing mission to enrich the Pender-Thurston community through educational and community-based support.

The Foundation extends its congratulations to the Class of 2026 scholarship recipients and their families and wishes them continued success in all their future endeavors.
